Hi, I’m Jacob Posey, the hands (and nose) behind Pine & Wick. Originally from Longview, Texas, I made the move to Moses Lake, Washington in April of 2024 for a change of pace and scenery. When I’m not pouring candles, I’m off exploring nature, catching live music, or hanging out with friends and family.

Candle making started as a creative way to stay busy, something hands-on I could do from my apartment. I wanted a hobby to fill my time, and since I had a few friends and family members who loved burning candles, I figured I’d try making some just for them. What began as a simple project quickly turned into something more. After seeing how much they enjoyed the candles and hearing their encouraging feedback, I realized I might be onto something. That small idea sparked a bigger vision, and before long, Pine & Wick was born.

From the beginning, I set a few key goals for Pine & Wick:

• Craft high-quality, hand-crafted products that feel like affordable luxury

• Use natural ingredients and clean-burning soy wax

• Source American-made materials whenever possible

• Constantly improve—longer-lasting scents, cleaner burns, and better performance with every batch

Since then, I’ve expanded my offerings to include other fragrance products and a growing lineup of unique scents, with plans to continue expanding options in the near future.
